“The nose suggests Port Mourant. This profile always makes me think of whiskey (Highlands here). The alcohol tweaks and I am also reminded of aged grappa. More intense on the palate than the nose suggests and surprisingly sweet. Finish is long, salty and dry as dust. Goes again in the direction of whiskey but this time smoky. The rum is definitely good and expressive but the PM profile is not for me.”
