How does this rum taste?
- Complex flavor profile
- Strong fruity aroma
- Long-lasting finish
The Plantation Fiji Islands (Julhes) rum, distilled in 2001 at the Fiji Rum & Co distillery and bottled by Maison Ferrand, offers a complex and intriguing profile. With 20 years of aging and a 45.9% ABV, this cask strength rum boasts aromas of dried fruit and peat, and flavors reminiscent of whiskey, accompanied by smoky and peaty undertones. User reviews highlight its strong fruitiness and notes of overripe banana and chocolate, although some may find it dominated by its whisky finish. Overall, this Fiji rum presents a unique flavor bomb, best enjoyed in small quantities to avoid overwhelming the palate.

"There is not too much left of the Fiji here! The whiskey finish dominates too much"
"04-05.11.2022 Den Danske Rom & Whiskyfestival 2022. Another return to this big event where many people go to get drunk. Once again we had a special event for a select set of people. Notes. Pretty average release with a sweet touch. I think the major flaw is the low ABV, could have been a lot better with a higher ABV I think. Fruity and spicy with smoke and peat notes once rested."
"In this Plantation bottling, the fiji flavors harmonize beautifully with the whiskey finish. I like very much."
"Unfortunately, the whiskey fish did not get him so well"
