21.01.2023 Relaxing at home with some samples. Colour Medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, fruity, light wood, faint smoke, faint chocolate, banana, overripe, light plum. Palate Fresh, light wood, light roasted, lightly dry, pineapple, spice, dried fruit, light chocolate, faint floral. Finish Medium long, warm, light wood, fruits, banana, light pineapple, faint chocolate, spice, lightly dry.
Accessible and at the same time quite sophisticated, this Clarendon is defined by its mastery, albeit with a slight bitterness. But good rum overall. The Jamaican markers are clearly recognizable.
A rum that combines Jamaican fruitiness with bourbon grain, with a certain strength.
Very nice and sweet, fruity, a real candy! Lacks a little punch to be really top.
