28.02.2020 Had a nice meet up with new rum nerds. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose Wood, caramel, iodine, leather, light roasted, plum, anise. Palate Oily, wood, roasted, licorice, cherry, medicinal, spice, caramel. Finish Medium to long, wood, caramel, licorice, raisin.
Nice release from Silver Seal. A round rum which lacks a bit of complexity and depth on the palate. However, we can clearly feel there is a strong basis and one can imagine how good the full proof version can be !
