Very good rum for such home sipping. Pleasant aroma, taste and finish. The fruit stands out, but also a little sugar. Warms just right...
I like Beenleigh and the value for money of this little plantation is really nice. The nose is slightly woody, with notes of coffee and white flowers. This rum doesn't have much alcohol on the palate, and there's a real sweetness on first contact with the taste buds. The taste of wood arrives, then the alcohol expresses itself and disappears a few seconds later. The pear taste is noticeable, accompanied by notes of vanilla. A slight taste of solvent. The medium-length finish remains on pear and vanilla.
Atypique, un côté bois humide intéressant, belle découverte 👏
