"Another double aged, but if you read a little further, you end up with a triple aged... 8 years in Bourbon, 1 year in Ferrand and 10 months in Pauillac casks... I think Plantation should revise its descriptions... On the nose, the Pauillac jumps out at you, then the spices soften the previous attack. It's a pity that the Panama markers don't stand out... Too bad... On the palate, a festival of cinnamon and pepper with a pleasant sweetness... And finally, Panama, you're a little hidden, but you're there... On the finish, dried fruit and cinnamon calm the alcohol fire. The presence of the cask really comes through at the very end... Interesting, but nothing more."
"A nice mild Pannamarrum. Actually, I now have ne aversion to Plantation rums, because they throw everything in their cognac barrels and that, I find, very much broken finished. The Paulliac finish, however, leaves a very nice, vermouth-like finish. Otherwise, nice molasses notes of leather and tobacco. Nevertheless, I also taste a somewhat tangy alcohol note when swallowing down and it is also a bit too sweet for me. In drinks as a molasses base he makes himself but really good."
