“Giving this one a couple of goes over a view weeks, there is no denying: this is just not very good. While I do enjoy the nose, the rest is simply mean and makes for an interesting experience but nothing more.”

“Caroni is clearly recognizable on the nose - but rather with heavy varnish and rubber associations. A balancing fruit component is unfortunately completely missing. Much Taninne and too long drawn black tea. On the palate, the rum unfortunately drifts into less enjoyable directions. A lot of black tea, licorice, bitter notes and slight acidity - virtually the opposite of an "easy sipper". The strong bitter note remains in the finish and I do not like unfortunately at all.Reminds of the DNA something of the 36th Release of Velier. Interesting to have had this experiment times in the glass, but with "pleasure" it has nothing to do... 🤓”
