#4879 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Fresh, light vegetal, tomato, cinnamon, light herbal, light olive, light fruits, light apple. Palate Round, oily, light banana, faint mint, olive, floral, fruits, light salty, citrus, light herbal, faint smoke. Finish Medium long, round, oily, fruits, light floral, olive, faint salt, faint smoke, light mineral. Love this kind of rum and the releases are usually pretty affordable.
The nose is actually pretty solid but none of the fruit carries through to the taste, which is very chemical forward. Definitely not my favorite from the velier Clairins.
