Un rhum de Barbade classique avec ses notes de noix de coco et de caramel, des épices douces, du chocolat et des fruits secs. L’attaque en bouche est très douce pour les 50 degrés, avec une pointe de café et de noix. La finale est d’une longueur moyenne, chaude et épicée, boisée, vanillée et chocolaté avec une pointe de fruits. Un rhum sans extravagance, simple, gourmand et efficace.

Thinking about the price tag on this bottle you actually get a lot. Less fruity than your average Barbados rum, but I like it. Warm on the palate with nice spices and a hint of honey. The empty glass is wonderful after an hour.

Barbados pur, aber nicht gerade die spannendste Seite: Vanille, Honig und Karamell, alles in allem rechte süß, das könnte auch ein klassischer Spanier sein. Anfangs hatte ich noch eine schöne Klebstoffnote, die jedoch recht schnell verflogen ist. Ansonsten ist vielleicht noch etwas Pfirsich zu finden, aber danach wird’s recht schnell dünn.

Un rhum de la Barbade sympa mais sans plus. Il est un peu écrasé par la noix de coco au nez et manque de complexité en bouche. Ca reste agréable et assez gourmand mais je ne m'en achèterais pas une bouteille entière.
