Old Brothers mise ici sur la douceur avec cette cuvée de la Barbade, dont on retrouve ostensiblement les arômes au nez : noix de coco, ananas et fruits secs pour le côté fruité, des notes pâtissières sur le gâteau, le caramel, le sucre brun et le toffee, ainsi qu’un boisé chocolaté, toasté et épicé avec une grande douceur. C’est plutôt sympathique de prime abord. La bouche est ronde, suave et gourmande, avec pas mal de notes pâtissières, chocolatées, vanillées et épicées. La gourmandise part sur la noix de coco et le raisin sec. C’est un profil doux et chaleureux, certes pas très profond et complexe, mais qui se veut plaisant pour son compte d’âge et son degré d’alcool. La finale est assez courte, dominée par ces notes sucrées, légèrement épicées et fruitées qui reviennent tout au long de la dégustation. Sans être une cuvée d’exception, cet assemblage de rhums de la Barbade est avant tout un rhum « plaisir » qui conviendra parfaitement avec des amis néophytes ou en début de dégustation.
Bringt alles mit was man von Foursquare und West Indies erwartet. Alkohol ist sehr gut gewählt um intensiv aber schön entspannt zu bleiben. Ein Klasse easy sipper der hier zum sehr fairen Kurs in die Flasche kam!
