03.06.2008 Relaxing with a few friends, food as well as beer in the evening. Updated with the correct date and place for the tasting. Pretty bad experience and I don't really see a use for this rum.
Difficult to describe. Lots of Maggi and walnut on the nose, plus wood and roasted aromas. Similar on the palate, but with more sweetness, at the same time somewhat bitter. The Maggi flavor lingers very long on the finish.
Oh well, a 40% 20 year old enmore that is not only weird in colour. This is what one would call wood soup. It is intense woody bitterness. In the end it cannot fathom to be really something nice. But well
That was an experience! But in the negative sense. No pleasure!
