"Pleasing Diamond, heavy sweetness, spice, wood, some citrus notes - good release, though without the very big sophistication."
"07.02.2020 Private tasting i was invited to. Notes. Light in colour. Nose: Wood, light roasted, citrus, light smoke, chocolate. Palate: Sweet, wood, roasted, light licorice, anise, dried fruit, citrus. Finish: Medium long, wood, chocolate, citrus, spice."
"If I had not known better (but error excluded), I could have sworn stone and stone, this would be the parallel tasted SBS Diamond Versailles 2003 (Marsala finish, RX4341) because of a strongly perceptible sweet wine barrel. [In principle, nice rum, which you really do not notice its Guyana origin, but for me a tad too thickly applied sweetness. Ideal to lead someone on a blind tasting nicely on the ice. 🤣"
"An excellent wine. Good length. Very good, powerful, complex rum."
