To Longueteau
"A very nice unaged release from this destillery. The nose is there as soon as you open the bottle and you're in no doubt that it's an Agricole. Price to quality is extremely good."
"This rum, Longueteau Constellation Blanc 2022 from the Esperance Distillery, is a limited edition (17400 bottles) for the 2022 Route du Rhum. It’s a blend of rum from two different plots. Red Cane from plot No 1 (dry and maritime climate) and Blue Cane from plot No 7 (humid climate). The blend rested for 8 months before bottled. The nose is complex, fruity, fresh, floral, creamy and round almost velvety with scents of sugarcane, pepper, grass, citrus and lemon. At the palate it’s still complex, round, silky, floral, sweet and a little bitter with flavors of mineral, lime, pepper, grass, citrus and sugarcane. The finish is long, very round, sweet and vegetal with flavors of pepper, grass, citrus and lime."
"Then a great Agricole afterwards. A completely different world to the Swell, that's what makes rum so cool :) A great, fresh, floral and grassy nose. Then very herbal on the palate. Agricole and sugar cane are clearly recognizable."
"This has been on my list for a long time. Very tasty and unmistakably an Agricole. Vegetable with citrus fruits, grass and young wood... I would like to compare it with other white agricoles, I still have a little bit left."
