How does this rum taste?
The Private Cask 2010 by Depaz, hailing from Martinique, is a limited edition rum, distilled from sugarcane juice and aged for 11 years in French oak. Users note a complex bouquet featuring fruity and toasted aromas, complemented by vanilla and peppery spices. On the palate, the rum showcases dominant woody and dried fruit notes, with toasted and leathery undertones. While generally appreciated for its intensity, the rum's profile is often described as boisterous, with a marked astringency that might not appeal to all. The rum is at cask strength with 58.2% ABV and offers a long-lasting finish. With only 428 bottles available, it targets connoisseurs seeking authentic agricole rum experiences on platforms like RumX.

Without direct comparison very high level! I must soon compare with the other private casks.
Dommage. Merci à Rodolphe pour le sample.
