Famille Ricci Bielle Exception
The "Exception" was produced in Marie Galante at the Bielle distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Famille Ricci. It was distilled in 2001 from Sugar cane juice with a Creole Column and then aged for 19 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 45,5%. This is a limited release and there are only 70 bottles. 5 community members rated this rum with an average of 6.9/10. The rum smells like Bitter orange, Barrel and Spice, and on the palate there is Bitter orange, Barrel and Mocha.

"Visit to Ricci. Like last time, just great: 14 rums tasted, 2 hours with us, all quality rums, some of them very high-flying, like this 19-year-old bielle... Inevitably woody, but neither aggressive nor overpowering. There's something really elegant here, with nuts, dried fruit, tobacco and leather."
