“Dem Rum kam das Sauternes-Finish vermutlich sehr zu gute, weil daneben für mich ein recht dünnes Profil verbleibt. Tatsächlich nähert sich das Destillat im Abgang etwas einem Obstbrand an, die übrigen Noten verblassen zunehmend. Hier hätte ich mich über mindestens fünf weitere Jahre Lagerung gefreut, das hätte dem Rum vermutlich zu mehr aromatischer Spannung verholfen.”
