The "Elegant" was produced in Marie Galante at the Bielle distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler David’s Rum Selection. It was distilled in 2009 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 13 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 47,7%. This is a limited release and there are only 194 bottles. 23 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.8/10. The rum smells like Woody, Round and Chocolate, and on the palate there is Woody, Dark chocolate and Fruity.

21.01.2023 Relaxing at home with some samples. Colour Medium dark to dark in colour. Nose Fresh, wood, Agricole, light roasted, fruits, faint chocolate, light herbal, faint citrus. Palate Wood, light roasted, Agricole, fruits, light citrus, light herbs, spice, light sugarcane. Finish Medium long, round, wood, spice, light licorice, light raisin.
A pleasant Bielle, with hints of licorice, eucalyptus, caramel and chocolate. Not a bomb either, but it goes down well!
