23 year old rum, aged in port barrels, a smooth taste of toffee, vanilla and fruit. A good tasting experience with chocolate and a good Dominican cigar!
Würzige Aromen, leicht auch Vanille wahrnehmbar und Holz. Kräftiger Auftakt mit Würze, pfeffrig, Lakritz. Dann cremige Süße, Sherry, bevor sich eine auffällige Frische zeigt, fast wie bei Minze oder Zahnpasta. Süße und Frische weiterhin im Abgang. Lässt Punkte liegen wegen der unspektakulären Nase, ansonsten gefällt mir die ungewöhnliche Frische.
Nice Sipping. Round, sweet - but not too sweet - and full of caramel, maple sirup and vanilla from the nose to the finish. Some slight notes of spices though. Sadly the finish is not that long, but fits to the overall good impression. Great value for the price as well.
