Overall a round and smooth Agricole with intense aromas and tastes from nose to the rather long finish. Savanna is fantastic brand from Reunion that mostly produce so called Traditionnel Rhum and Grand Arome, both from molasses. This one though is an Agricole. Most of their Agricole’s is named Creol and distilled in their Savalle copper column.
#5551 12.08.2025 Relaxing with some samples while watching a crime series on HBO. Nose Medium intense, fruity, light vegetal, light tomato, light apple, faint polish. Palate Oily, fresh, medium intense, light olive, faint salt, light citrus, faint floral, faint tomato, spice. Finish Medium long, oily, fresh, fruits, light olive, faint salt, light citrus. Empty glass Citrus, olive, light sugarcane, light pear.
An agricultural rum that's different from Martinique or Guadeloupe. Very original, with notes of tropical fruit and, for me, a strong green olive flavour. Very pleasant for its originality, though rather clear-cut. Very good in tasting, tipunch, very sweet, then dry with lemon, the lime zest enhances the citrus and fruit notes.
Tropische Früchte, Oliven und etwas Limette. Perfekt für Mojito oder Daiquiri. Kann pur auch überzeugen.
