Palate Fresh, round, sugarcane, fruity, light floral, naturally sweet, light citrus, light chocolate, medium spicy. Finish Medium to long, light smoke, light mint, light floral, fruity, medium spicy. The empty glass has nice licorice and light herbs.

Chacune est un rhum blanc AOC, réduit lentement à 56 %, fruit d’un assemblage de parcelles et de variétés de canne. Le tout est présenté dans une élégante bouteille noire, cirée à la main — une vraie touche haut de gamme (environ 50 €). 🔸 Nez : expressif, frais, herbacé, notes fruitées, réglisse, poivre 🔸 Bouche : douce malgré les 56 %, fraîcheur mentholée, épices, agrumes, très gourmande 🔸 Finale : courte mais savoureuse 💛 Coup de cœur pour la version Juin, encore plus gourmande ! 📍 Zoom sur La Favorite Fondée en 1842, propriété de la famille Dormoy depuis 1905 Située au Lamentin, toujours familiale et indépendante Production artisanale : canne coupée à la main, autonomie à 85 % Distillation sur 2 colonnes créoles (cuivre & inox) Fonctionne toujours à la vapeur avec une machine datant de 1906 !
Un nez agréable de canne fraiche légèrement sucrée avec une touche de curcuma En bouche on retrouve la canne, du citron vert et du poivre Finale sur l’iode et le citron vert en fond de bouche Un blanc qui aurait pu être très sympa s’il était moins effacé, beaucoup de saveurs mais trop peu marquées.
