Edit: nochmal aus der frisch geöffneten Flasche probiert. Für den damaligen Preis echt o.k. Die Foursquare Marker sind da. Als Mixer macht er eine gute Figur. Pur zu alkoholisch Leider nicht so gut wie erwartet. Eher einer der schlechteren Foursquare. Zum sippen zwischendurch kann man ihn schon nehmen. Denke aber er wird als CubaLibre sein Ende finden. Wie angekündigt natürlich als Mixer geendet. Für den Preis aber denoch ein guter Rum.
Relatively mixed I would say. Nose: caramel, vanilla, alcohol, little to no fruit. Rather monotonous and somewhat angular in the mouth, although it has a good mouthfeel. Rather short finish. For the money, I would rather go for an ECS
Rather disappointing overall. Even after breathing for over an hour, the alcohol is still quite present and the taste is not particularly complex...
#4724 12.05.2024 Relaxing at home. Nose Fresh, alcoholic, light caramel, coconut, light pineapple, faint chocolate. Palate Warm, alcoholic, fruits, coconut, light chocolate, faint caramel, tannins, light wood. Finish Medium to long, wood, alcoholic, light caramel, faint chocolate, light citrus. The empty glass has stronger chocolate and light herbs. ABV is pretty badly integrated even after a long rest it is still very present. With some water the ABV will smoothen out and more destinct flavours will appear.
