"Overall a superb, very smooth and aromatic Agricole with a rather long finish. This rum from the Carrere Distillery is produced for the commander of the gendarmerie forces in Guadeloupe and is therefore bear the name "La Brigade". It’s a blend of rums from two harvests, 2019 and 2020 and is limited to just 971 numbered bottles."
"Yoo les Amigos, Montebello - La Brigade -🇬🇵 - 56,6% Ce rhum est sorti, avec un vieux de 6 ans, à l'occasion d'une collaboration entre la distillerie montebello et le commandant des forces de la gendarmerie de la guadeloupe et des iles nord. C'est finalement sur le rhum blanc que j'ai jeté mon dévolu car on est encore en présence d'une petite pépite. Il s'agit d'un assemblage de jus à fermentation longue (48h à 72h) des récoltes de 2019 et 2020. On retrouve la trame rustique typique de chez montebello avec des notes végétales de foin, un côté terreux et un poivré léger. On a également une belle sucrosité et des notes fruitées avec des agrumes dont l'orange. C'est cet équilibre entre le côté végétal, qui donne du caractère, et le côté gourmand que j'adore dans ce jus. Tout ça avec une belle intégration de l'alcool. Un vrai délice ! Santé"
