“#4094 This release also has a bit of smoke on it as its predecessors. Lightly fruity with spices but generally thin. Unfortunately watered down too much in my mind. Price to quality is OK. Probably good in a mixer.”

“La Barbade et Cuba s’allient pour former ce Plantation bon marché. On retrouve les traditionnelles notes de noix de coco, de banane, mais aussi les épices douces, le chocolat, le caramel, quelques notes rôties et les fruits secs. Un profil classique, sans fortiori. L’attaque en bouche est douce avec un côté sirupeux en texture qui accentue la gourmandise. Hormis le caramel, la noix de coco et la banane, ce sont surtout les notes fumées qui ressortent au palais. On a profil doux mais sombre, sur le toast, l’amande et la noisette grillée. Une légère touche d’alcool se fait également ressentir. La finale, de longueur correcte, poursuit la lignée de la bouche avec des notes fumées et de fèves tonka. On perçoit la dilution de l’alcool, ce qui donne une arrière-goût assez terne. Un rhum simple qui fera le bonheur des néophytes avec un prix tout aussi doux.”

“Hoppla, wo ist denn hier Cuba in der Nase? Tatsächlich recht wenig davon im Geruch, dafür viel fruchtiges Barbados. Mit etwas Zeit und Wärme bekommt er mehr Körper, und die Frucht wird leichter - und Erdbeere spielt tatsächlich eine Rolle. Wenig Rauch für 'Black Cask'. Im Mund dann doch recht süß. Keine großen Ausreißer im Geschmack. Aber auch hier - Erdbeere. Ich weiß nicht was genau im Blend passiert, aber es scheint dass Cubanoten mit fruchtig genau dahin lehnen. Spannend was die Aromatik angeht. Das spezielle Finish wird kräftiger je mehr Luft er bekommt. Nach hinten raus dann pelzig, trocken und rauchig an den Zungenflanken - dieses typische 'Beißen' ohne unangenehm zu werden.”

“The typical roasted coconut of many Plantation rums paired with banana and dunder funk which I normally expect from a Jamaican. Smells more fruity,but tastes more nutty. The finish is short and almost not existent. Payed 26€, which I think is fair. Edit: After a few weeks, I only get pure strawberry when smelling it.”

“Muj aktualni favorit pomer cena/vykon okolo 30€. Na vecerni sklenicku s prateli, kteri nejsou propiti k single cask rumum, pripadne s rumy nemaji zkusenost. V chuti sladsi, ovocny, prijemny na jazyku. Ocekaval bych vice "koure" a plnejsi chut s delsim zaverem, nicmene za ty penize si to sve kupce najde.”
