The "Single Cask 3rd Edition" was produced in Venezuela at the C.A.D.C distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Andreas Schwarz Preetz. It was distilled in 2004 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 14 years. The rum has an ABV of 55%. Blindverkostung: leichte, typische spanische Nase: Vanille, Leder und eine karamellige Süße. Am Gaumen dann die volle Süße mit etwas stechenden ~55%. Der Abgang ist länger, als man es von Spaniern kennt. Ein solider einfacher, nicht vordernder Rum, den man gerne zum BBQ trinken kann. Für mich ganz klar ein C.A.C.D Rum aus Venezula aus dem Jahre 2004. 79 Punkte
