"I can't understand how you have to give a 2007 such a finish. It's actually a really good vintage in itself. For me, the sherry influence is definitely too clear and ends in a musty old cellar vault taste. Not at all my profile of what I imagine. It also reminds me of cardboard boxes that have been left to rot in a damp cellar for years."

"Das Finish gibt dem Rum vor allem am Gaumen eine bestimmte Richtung, für mich weg vom HD-Obstkorb (der die Nase dominiert), hin zu einer trockeneren, wurzel- oder gemüseartigen Anmutung, vor allem nach hinten raus. Habe ich noch nie so erlebt. Ich mag - und das ist echt ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal innerhalb meiner bisherigen Verkostungen - vor allem den Abgang, der mich in meiner Vorstellung in einen alten, staubigen Fasskeller führt, in dem vielleicht auch Kartoffeln über den Winter gelagert werden. Fazit: Ja, Experiment gelungen, wenngleich nicht herausragend. Wiedererkennungseffekt durchaus vorhanden, aber kein all time favorite. Interessanter Rum."
