“I love good Dominicans when the weather is really hot like it is now so this is a disappointment for me. I think that there’s been a big devolution of quality in this brand where the old versions were quite a bit better. I’ve had several trustworthy people mention this as one of their favorite Dominicans which makes no sense to me considering the quality now that I try it. It’s light to the point of tasteless. Alcohol is well integrated but with something so aqueous it’s hardly an achievement. Dominicans are some of my favorite easy sippers but this one will not be in my rotation going forward. Really pales in comparison with good Dominican brands like Opthimus or the Makasares. Oh well, you live you learn. At least the bottle is beautiful.”
