Excellent rhum, assez doux en bouche

Un goût caramélisé très agréable.

A honeyed candy with a vanilla heart. The alcohol is well integrated. The spice and nutty notes take a pleasant course.

Very tasty. Blended in Cognac casks. Woody character.

A soft and mellow rum, which envelops you in sweetness... the first nose, to my great surprise, is rather green, then after a few minutes, the delicious smell of candied fruit takes over. To the taste, it keeps its promises, round and regular. A small peppery note raises the whole in order to wake up the taste buds a bit... The final, all in delicacy, just gives desire to come back to it !

Quite sweet and slightly spicy.aromas of caramel, toffee, pepper and cinnamon.

Strangely enough, it does not carry much through in the taste, which is really nice and buttery smooth. Fantastic balance between sweet and dry - Hint of vanilla and spice, where the spice carries through, but the vanilla leaves quickly, but here we have a nice long and pleasant aftertaste 🥃👍

I like this just a bit more than it younger xo sibling. Both are wonderful rums.

Shopbesuch Weinquelle Lühmann Hamburg April 2025. Der nächste El Pasador. Ist auch wieder eher süßlich in der Nase, wir haben hier Vanille und Karamell. Am Gaumen auch Vanille und Karamell, sowie brauner Zucker.

At the price tag this is a pretty decent rum. The nose has overripe fruits and vanilla in the front and in the back i get nuts, caramel and some coconut. The palate is light and sweet with raisin and vanilla in the front and in the back i get nuts, toffee, molasses and some wood notes. The finish is medium long and sweet with vanilla and cocoa and a hint of cocoa/chocolate.

Nose: Sweet caramel, brown sugar and sugar cane as a tracer, a little later we find some woody. The nose is clearly not promising as it is too linear. Taste : Quite classical in the approach, sweetness, raisin, vanilla crème brûlée, it is syrupy. We find a little alcohol despite all the sugar. Finish : It heats up a bit in the end on brown sugar despite the only 40%, it's not bad for this category with a finish on chocolate and woody.

I find that people overthink this one. It's too soft and not very interesting. A rather typical Spanish style and a bit boring. I don't like it.

According to the taste it should be semi-sweetened and semi-infused. But the taste stays in mouth for long time and the taste of alcohol connected cogens is there. So - drinkable without hangover! ....
