A very well balanced and rounded rum. The ABV is very well integrated and the natural sweetness compliments the overall expression. Once rested the fruityness and caramel shines and the glue is easy to pick up. Price to quality is very good.
On the nose, all sorts of tropical-exotic fruits, perhaps most likely lychee and mango. Also fresh herbs, green apple, barrel and caramel. The palate wonderfully soft with peach, caramel, licorice, chocolate. Class part, am positively surprised!
An elegant soft pleasant Diamond! The nose has a slight glue note at first but quickly gives way to a tropical fruitiness, a slight floral, cookie note with vanilla bildent the conclusion .The palate spreads very soft and with well integrated alcohol. Initially light burnt sugar, dried fruit, which gradually changes to licorice and light wood! Something sour, like sour cherry I also perceive. The finish is unspectacular with dried fruit and capuccino with chocolate!A successful bottling!
I liked this quite a bit. Glue and tropical fruit notes on the nose alongside wood and spices. On the palate again wood and baking spices alongside dried fruits. Nice Column expression out of Diamond.
