"It's exciting how the minty notes run through the various post-2000s TDL vintages. There are also spices, wood, marzipan sweetness and some fruit and tea. What is striking here is how strongly the mint aromas benefit from the influences of longer maturation. The mint and menthol aromas are still very dominant here, and I feel that the flavor counterpart at eye level is somewhat lacking. The rating is therefore not quite on the same level as other TDLs of this era."

"Great indie Scottisch bottler. With a very affordable line of Whisky and Rum releases. Great bar. Friendly people. TDL. Another distillery that released varied, sometimes dirty, but always fruity rums...when being released by the indies. This one starts of very smoky, burnt, thick, woody. A dirty layer over dries cherries. At least in the nose. Taste: smoky still, but gets less over time. There are the famous TDL berries. Red fruits. Medloul Dates. A bit dirty. A bit fresh. A whiff of menthol. Pretty classic modern TDL."
