Distinctly coherent Agricole profile: wood, heavy sweetness of dried fruit, chocolate and nougat, plus subtle citrus notes as well as finely tared spicy notes and smokiness. Quite consistent from nose to finish, but thanks to this very straightforwardness very harmonious.

A nice surprise that shows the rise of Isautier on the premium rum scene. This Single Cask agricole reveals very singular notes of perfume and flowers (violets) before letting the greediness of spices and fruits and the elegance of wood express themselves. In the mouth, we are first on a floral, vegetal and earthy register, with tobacco, sugar cane and sap, before letting the fruits, spices and wood express themselves. The whole is very round and balanced, the alcohol not being felt. The finish is very long and keeps the aromatic register, with some greedy notes of chocolate. A homogeneous and original rum, which shows a nice depth and deserves more attention.

#4013 First off, the price to quality is very good on this release. You really get a lot for your money. Fresh and fruity with nice spices and roasted wood in really nice balance. The palate is lightly dry with some really nice floral and caramel notes on top of the other flavours. The empty glass is really nice and reveals some chocolate and earthy notes.

2ieme essai suite au rhum fest. Je trouve le nez superbe (fruité, floral, frais). Malheureusement, la bouche à un côté terreux et amère moins agréable. Dommage...
