Since @crazyforgoodbooze hooked me on Mauritius at the 11th GRF, I've been trying to get to know that country's rums better. With this one, I like the expressive currant note on the palate. A really pleasant rum, but with an unremarkable nose and short finish that can't match Perola's Grays (RX12865) from the same year.

Very well made rum with impressive alcohol integration. Reminds of the profile somewhat TDL (mint, a little dirty).

Dégustation à l'aveugle. Rhum très fruité. Alcool très bien intégré (très étonné de voir 65%!). Bien équilibré, avec des arômes qui se distinguent. Un litchi plane tout le long de la dégustation, ce qui est très agréable. L'alcool reste très élevé, ce qui donne in rhum très intense qui peut sembler écoeurant.
