How does this rum taste?
- Complex aroma profile
- Nutty and chocolate notes
- Exclusivity of limited edition
The "Nonaginta" Rum, a limited edition from Martinique's Neisson Distillery, captivates with its complex aroma and taste. Distilled from sugar cane juice and bottled at 47.6% ABV, this rum showcases woody, vanilla, caramel, and dried fruit notes. While praised for its elegance and depth, with nutty, chocolate undertones, some find its finish lacking the expected strength and complexity for its price. Despite its luxurious appeal, consumers express mixed sentiments on its value compared to other Neisson offerings. Collectors and connoisseurs, however, will appreciate its exclusivity, with only 450 bottles available. Ideal for those seeking a noteworthy addition to their rum collection, but consideration should be given to personal tastes and expectations due to varied user reviews.

"A rum that's sure to be the talk of the town. The nose opens with woody, spicy notes, toasted flavors, hazelnut and peanut butter, some fruit and floral notes. Chocolate and sugarcane are also perceptible. The palate is vegetal, spicy, slightly pastry-like and fruity. The whole is very (too) sweet and offers nothing exceptional in taste. The finish is equally disappointing, with a few woody, spicy, sweet and fruity notes. A huge red card for Neisson with this flat, traditional cuvée, whose quality in no way justifies the price."
"This was a pretty expensive sample and I had great expectations and I got a bit disappointed. This is a good rum but really does t live up to the hype and price tag. Now some may disagree, but I think it's a bit thin and Neisson has released far better rums. In a few words, fruity, round and wood with a touch of nutts."
"Nice spice. In the end, some power is missing for a top rating."
"Nice, but not outstanding. Gentle fruits & vegetal notes but somehow unbalanced and too spicy with a short finish."
