The "Clément Cask Collection" was produced in Martinique at the Distillerie du Simon distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler La Compagnie du Rhum. It was distilled in 2007 from Sugar cane juice with a Creole Column and then aged for 10 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 59,3%. Sehr karamellig, aber irgendwie passiert nicht mehr.
Tasting-Abend bei Dr. Django: Dieser Clément ist recht gut, aber leider eindimensional… in erster Linie nehme ich Karamell, Fass und etwas Gewürze wahr. Diese Aromen begleiten einem von der Nase bis zum Abgang. Guter Durchschnitt.
30.11.2019 A great afternoon and evening with friends, good food and of course, rum. Notes Dark in colour. Nose Wood, light caramel, dried fruit, light roasted, vanilla, faint glue, nutts. Palate Wood, raisin, nutts, light vanilla, light caramel, light roasted, faint coffee, faint coconut, light chocolate. Finish Medium to long, warm, vanilla, light roasted, faint chocolate, raisin, light caramel.
Très belle sélection pour ce brut de fût.
