The MICRO BATCH #1 Jamaican Rum Antipodes is a limited release crafted from molasses at Multi Distilleries in Jamaica. Distilled in 2009 using pot stills, this 13-year-old rum is bottled at a robust cask strength of 58.7% ABV. Known for its rich fruity, ester, and peppery profile, this expression is a delicate blend of spirits from New Yarmouth, Long Pond, Clarendon Estate, and other Jamaican sources. Very nice Jamaican blend that comes out of the profiles full of esters but that is really very pleasant. The nose is fresh and fruity, a nice mix of flowers and fruits on a wax/vanilla background. The mouth is more vegetal and peppery. The whole is well balanced, offers a nice meeting of Jamaica and I think it's very well done.
Very nice Jamaican blend with fruit, esters, wood and some cookie dough. Creamy mouthfeel, well integrated alcohol, very fine.
Z vůně jsem v rozpacích. Jamajka je tam znát, ale přijde mi to takové disharmonické. Chuťově pravý opak. Krásně nasládlé , celkem uhlazené a dobře pitelné. Nakonec jsem spokojený. Fajn blend jako bývají Great House.
