„Very good Long Pond/Cambridge 🤤🤤, but i miss here the power like the 2005th version (5/6% less than the 2005). Nose: Classic delicious mix of ester, nail polish, glue, solvents, various trop fruits, citrus with a some notes of the barrel Mouth: Ester, solvents, trop. fruits, a bit flowery and sweet. And licorice 🤔 Finish: long, with a lot of various notes of the barrel paired with a fruity note (pineapple). Really delicious The alcohol is integrated very well For me Cambridge 2005>>>Cambridge 2010.“

„The clearly more relaxed - in the sense of uncomplicated drinkable - STCE from the Velier series. For me, both are almost on par, only the slightly greater aromatic force brings the 2010 razor-thin in front. However, both offer high quality, without any doubt.“

„Very good, but less balanced and fragrant than Long Pond TECA, VR and TECC. The ABV is a bit predominant compared to its other counterparts mentioned earlier. What did not particularly impress me was the aromatic bouquet that I perceived it a bit too light and not well blended. It's lucky that I tried a sample because I don't know if at the figure of 150 euros I would have bought it, at the same amount I would have opted for a TECA. However beyond the price it remains a nice rum highly above average, but one that disappoints expectations a little for the name it carries. For those who have never tasted a Long Pond it remains an interesting experience absolutely worth trying.There is no lack of typical roasted and pastry notes on the nose and palate with a medium tropical fruit (perhaps pineapple) finish.“

„In direct comparison to the 2005, this bottling appears much more harmonious and fruity!But also with a little more ester and and nail polish.In the fruit I have initially an overripe, fermented papaya... who knows it; is not so great! But that fades quickly!On the palate, initially pleasantly mild and sweet, then intense, funky,fruity, woody and some allspice, great!The finish is medium long. Tannins and light woodiness predominate!It is in no way inferior to the 2005, although the profiles are somewhat different!“

„The nose is brilliant. This is unmistakably a continental flavored Jamaican rum, and yet it's as round and approachable as you'd expect from Barbados. Along with nail polish and a fermented tropical fruit basket, there's plenty of vanilla, sweet pastry with strawberry syrup, and a bit of tart herbalism at the very back. In the mouth, the roundness takes revenge and costs some complexity. While the tart notes (slightly smoky curry leaves, as is often the case with high ester rums) are more prominent, it lacks some depth behind fruity esters and the sweet vanilla. The finish continues to be very smooth with prominent curry leaves. The has the feel-good factor of the HV EMB 2010. The bottle is ordered 🤤“

„An ultra-balanced Long Pond throughout: powerful, fine, delicate and very expressive, the control of the aromas is really excellent. Ripe exotic fruits and citrus take the lead, followed by phenolic notes, then come woody, vanilla, spicy and fresh notes that counterbalance the typical high ester profile. The esters dissipate on the palate, with tropical fruit, woody and floral notes finding their ease for a very nice taste balance. It is round, elegant and with just the right amount of character. The tannins are also present and are felt on a long, more vegetal finish, seasoned with leather and licorice in addition to the fruit. A superb Long Pond, all in control.“

„again a top STC🖤E bottling! From memory, I would argue that the 2005 Cambridge was still a little edgier. But perhaps it is simply because of its lower ABV that the 2010 comes along a bit rounder and more balanced. On the nose, a really good balance of fermented, overripe fruit, fruit bread, iodine, balsamic vinegar. On the palate again this light gravy note, but everything in the green range and not yet as extreme as in the TECA bottlings.“

„Compared to the Cambridge 2005, it seems much more cloudy in the glass. On the nose much better, more intense, nice glue note. On the palate also compared to the 2005 much more intense, alcohol well integrated. In May Tai also mega!“

„Quite a nail-biting nose, with chocolate, vanilla, a nice mix of fruit and honey resonating. In the mouth you get a harmonious range of flavors. Bitter chocolatey, dry, sour fruit, but still rounded out by honey and caramel. I really like it. Overall, a thoroughly complex rum.“

„Superb !Esterised nose. Ripe fruits. A light woody taste. A freshness that gives envy.In mouth, it is really very good. We find the markers of the nose accompanied by very pleasant floral notes. The final of a crazy sweetness and a very correct length.The price of release is high. The bottle is not the same as the previous ones of the series.but it is VERY good!“
