“A real "board" - aromatically very dense with lots of fresh fruit from a melange of tropical and citrus fruits that can hardly be decomposed in the last detail paired with bacony roasted aromas, spices, wood influences and some caramel sweetness. “A fabulous Long Pond that shows a remarkable delicacy for its voltage. The nose lets tropical fruits and phenolic notes express themselves, then let the floral and vegetal notes melt with pastry aromas, spices and a little patinated wood. A very elegant nose. On the palate, we find the same array of flavors with lots of spices and chocolate, yellow fruits and chili pepper as well. The alcohol is perfectly integrated, the whole rests on a remarkable balance of flavors and an infinite roundness. The finish is endless on the same flavors, all in control and elegance. An intense, complex, sensual rum that has everything going for it.”
