“Un rhum de Travellers qui se veut aussi puissant que gourmand. La noix de coco et la banane se partagent le nez avec le caramel, le biscuit et le sucre brun pour un côté à la fois opulent et onctueux. Le chocolat au lait et les épices vont de pair avec un boisé gourmand et les notes grillées de noisette pour offrir une sorte de bonbon olfactif. En bouche, l’alcool est dompté par les notes pâtissières de caramel au beurre et de toffee. Il y a un côté sirupeux qui rend le rhum très gouleyant. Chocolat, noix de coco, gâteau, cookie, fruits secs, muscade et vanille forment la colonne vertébrale au palais. Un rhum extrêmement moelleux et facile d’approche. La finale est de bonne longueur, sur des arômes similaires. Le toffee, l’amande et la touche saline et de cognac donnent un peu de consistance en fin de bouche. Un très bon rhum, mais sûrement trompeur de par son haut degré et ses arômes des plus doux. Une excellente alternative pour les débutants dans le monde du rhum.”
