"This is the first one I sample from this rum destillery in Scotland. I would probably prefer this one in a mixer to sipping it. A bit rough around the edges but the price tag is pretty OK."

"Easy drinker, loads of flavour"

"Slight hint of orange and bannoffy pie on the nose. Very odd flavours and not particularly to my liking. Very spirit forward, sour, dry spice. Hint of vanilla on the finish. Spasams of dry/sour through the finish, curious butter tail. . Glad this came as a small sample and I did not buy a bottle. Not sure what cocktail this would work in. It will be interesting to see how this distillery develops. But I would have been extremely upset if I had bought a bottle, especially at an rrp of £40"

"Weird and funky nose that requires a revisit to unearth hidden notes. The taste caused a physical shudder, not my favourite if I’m honest. Hit and spicy, leaves an acidic burn in the gut. I don’t think even a cocktail could hide this taste well enough."
