“Nose: intense, floral, continental fruits, honey Palate: suprisingly round with alcohol very well integrated. Floral, fruits, milk chocolate. While this is young and powerful, I would have guessed way more than two years of aging. Well done - nice debute for the Honey Batcher.”

“So, heute ist Ghana-Tasting! Der Honey-Batcher ist der erste! An der Nase zunächst erst einmal Ester, Frucht und eine gewisse Süße, das fängt schon mal gut an. Je länger er im Glas verweilt kommt auch noch etwas frisches und blumiges und noch später Heu dazu! Am Gaumen verteilt er sich zunächst cremig, der Alkohol britzelt am Anfang ordentlich, weicht dann aber einer frischen, blumigen und süßen Honignote! Etwas Vanille gesellt sich auch dazu! Der Abgang ist vermischt mit einer grasigen, getreideartigen, holzigen Note… Insgesamt ein guter Rum, irgendwie zwischen Jamaica-Funk und jungem Agricole!”
