Minoki Mizunara Japanese Rum
Most enjoy the gentle mizunara wood, vanilla and dark chocolate finish, especially in cocktails. Critics find it flat, watery and too young. Consensus: an okay, wood-driven experiment, not a must-buy sipper.
Curious drinkers building their palate who like soft, vanilla‑driven 40% rums and want a gentle, mizunara‑influenced bottle mainly for mixed drinks or relaxed, undemanding sipping.

Very young, lots of vanillin from an apparently fresh Mizunara wooden barrel. Unfortunately a little flat, little taste of its own.
High hopes for this since I love mizunara casks in general. Super elegant finishes that seldomly disappointed. Unfortunately there is not much of this here to be found. I barely understand why this is even advertised as much. Still an okay expression
I have to taste it again in peace and analyze it carefully. Still a positive surprise for 40%. Nice experiment with this cask, but unfortunately it seems a little thin. But thanks to Serge for letting me try another rum outside the range.
