A rum of truly infinite elegance and persistence! An unusual Demerara in color and taste that nevertheless remains among the best continental aging I have tasted!
Nose: Vanilla, oak, fresh fruit (mango), herbal notes, cane sugarMouth: Oak, subtle vanilla, light spicy notes (pepper, clove), fruit (plum, dried tropical fruit), plus light citrus notes. Finish: medium long and rather mild. There remains a sweet spiciness. Vanilla sugar, dried fruit and again light citric acidity. Verdict: Surprising, able to please. Stands out with its distinctly "fresh" profile.
