“The nose has a bite of wood and smokiness to it but it masked by a lot of alcohol burn. I left it to air out for about half an hour and then some coffee notes were present. The palate has lots of woody notes with a touch of leather but there is an astringent element that I'm not a fan of. The finish is short to medium, very dry and has a nutty quality. Overall I've had much better from That Boutique-y Rum Company but I've also had worse. Nothing to complain or be overly excited about here.”

“Significantly weaker than Batch 1, but still fine”
