It's not very often you can try old rums so whenever I get the chance without costing me an arm and a leg I'll give it a go. Old doesn't always mean good, but I did like this one. In the beginning it was very light on the nose but after a few minutes it started to develop. The profile has light wood and saltiness to it as well as an olorosso/oxidised note. Considering the age pretty good overall.
Toller alter Martinique-Rum. Exquisites Profil mit schweren Früchten und edlem Holz. Ein echter Genuss und flüssige Rumgeschichte.
