How does this rum taste?
Most reviewers appreciate how the port wine influence stands out, giving this rum a sweet, smooth profile with plenty of red wine and sour cherry notes. Many compare it to the Ruby Port edition, describing it as rounder and more harmoniously integrated, with some enjoying the unique blend of tawny port and Panamanian rum. It's often enjoyed neat by those who like a sweeter sip, and stands out as a distinctive choice for fans of port wine flavors.

Very sweet ... not really what I would call delicious.
Much rounder and more harmonious than the Ruby Port edition, although a little too sweet for me, but that's the nature of 10y old tawny port. A nice alternative for sweet rum drinkers and a real novelty in the rum world.
