With a medium finish this was my number two of the evening. Again fruity with spices and a woody touch. The palate and finish has a nice roasted touch to it.
On the nose tobacco, chocolate, burnt sugar, flowers, vanilla, tropical fruits and toastiness. On the palate the roastiness resurfaces and then melts over hazelnuts, chocolate and flowers, embraced by a noble woodiness that gradually opens up, a drop of vanilla, a touch of pepper and some dates. It is really mouthwatering, perfectly rounded, the abv is also perfect and it is a gem of complexity and refinement.
