Very good rum for the price from the Forsquare distillery. It was matured in french oak and cognac casks made of american oak. I asked them in e-mail about the sugar content. It has no added sugar and the overall dosage is 0.4g/L which is awesome. Great nose taste and finish. Full of tropical fruits, spices, wood and a light sweetness. Natural color, not sure about chill filtration. Definitely will look into their other products too. Cheers🤟🏼🥃
"Top but still light at foursquare In summary, my degustation notes: Nose: Woody, Coconut, Sweet On the palate: Vanilla, Fruity, Coconut Finish: Sweet". Very cool.
Nose of fruit, vanilla and coconut. Light oak. On the palate, despite the reduction, it's pretty cool. The oak is quite present. All around, fruit, coconut and vanilla. Easy to drink. A little light. Short, unsurprising finish. A nice way to introduce buddies to rum, with a fairly sweet rum that tells a story. I really enjoyed it.
Very smooth cognac barrel makes rum pleasant
