How does this rum taste?
RumX members love the huge, natural coconut hit—often called liquid Bounty—backed by vanilla, chocolate and a touch of marzipan. It’s sweet but many find it surprisingly not too sweet, with a short, smooth finish. Great neat with ice and a hit in Piña Coladas or dessert serves. A popular community pick with 173 reviews and strong buyer confidence, especially for those craving real coconut character.

This is a coconut rum but not a low avb artificially flavored one. This is a Barbados rum with real coconut flesh used to get the flavors and it works fantastically. Smell and taste coconut is in the forefront, but also chocolate, and hints of spice. Great to just sip, haven't tried anything else with it yet but I'm sure it would work well as a mixer.
Tasted at Sanctus Spiritus ‘24, so my review remains rather concise. Smells exactly as branded, like coconut. In such an extreme amount that it seems unlikely that this was achieved with only maceration. It’s accessible, sweet, creamy and perhaps ideal as an after dinner pour. In the mouth less sweet than expected, but still obscenely sugared. It tastes like those gasstation liqueur-filled chocolates. I’m a little surprised current reviews are so lenient. The obvious idea that this could go in cocktails like piña coladas has been continuously noted. Perhaps this has applications in home mixology, but for professional use I would always coconut wash a Bajan rum. Plus a good piña simply doesn’t need a coconut liqueur.
I want to cry at how good this is.
Spiced coconut rum. Certainly great for cocktails. Unsuitable for me to drink straight.
