How does this rum taste?
The "No. 21C - Savalle Still LBI" from Guyana's Diamond distillery, curated by Nobilis Rum, reflects a bold profile. Distilled in 2013 using a Savalle Still from molasses and aged for eight years, it's bottled at a potent 64.7% ABV. With only 290 bottles released, the rum displays a unique character marked by prominent cocoa and tropical fruit notes. On the palate, woody and vanilla flavors dominate, though the rum's youthful freshness is noted. User reviews highlight its potential but suggest further aging could have enhanced complexity.

By rum lovers, for rum lovers
I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 24,000 bottlings, 250,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 47,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.
This is part of a series of 3 rums and I like when bottlers try something new or experiment. This particular rum was young and fresh in both bouquet and on the palate, but it still managed to move things around. Fruity and intense without being put of balance.
