“A surprisingly good rum and despite the age it's a very dark rum in the glass. Very little fruit in there but wood and caramel mixed really well with the spices. Surprisingly smooth actually.”

“Sehr entspannter Rum und aufgrund der Verdünnung einfach zu trinken. Das Portwein-Fass ist deutlich zu erkennen, ansonsten das typische Profil eines Spaniers. Mir ist der Rum am Ende deutlich zu dünn und zu langweilig, auch der Abgang ist ziemlich kurz.”

“Ein fruchtiger und würziger Rum aus Venezuela mit ordentlich Fasseinfluss. In der Nase viele rote Früchte,Karamell, etwas Holz und Gewürze. Im Mund profitiert das Destillat von einer fruchtigen Vollmundigkeit, den Fassnoten und den feinen Tönen von Kaffee, die mich oft an Kolumbianischen Rum erinnern. Der mittellange Abgang ist angenehm würzig, fruchtig und wird von leichten Schwarzteenoten begleitet. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut und die Tolle Farbe aus dem Fass macht ebenfalls eine gute Figur.”
