How does this rum taste?
Legendary smoky Demerara powerhouse
If you enjoy peaty Islay whisky or the darkest, wood‑driven Demeraras, this is a must‑try legend; if smoke puts you off, it will feel overwhelming rather than special.
Beginners, anyone sensitive to high ABV, or drinkers who dislike dominant smoke, bitterness or earthy, whisky‑leaning rums.

Heavy and dark Guyana flavors, wood, licorice with a toch of maggi. An intoxicating perfume. A touch of bitterness. No astringency. Perfect balance. Perfect rum to celebrate our engagement. What a moment in life 😍 @Dr.Django thanks for the tasting opportunity 💍❤️🥃 31/10/24: Some tobacco and rubber (in the best way) menthol associations in the finish.
A wonderful rum and I'm happy to have a backup bottle on my shelf. Wonderfully balanced and full bodied, if you get the chance give it a go.
Amazing nose with a perfect balance between round and bitter notes. Unfortunately, palate is way more bitterish and feels a bit unbalanced. A pitty for such legendary rum. Not a bad one though and I'm still very happy I tasted such legend.
